6.22 - 7.2.01
Our friends Nicotine once again bring us to Japan. Besides playing some huge shows with other bands from Sky Records, Mustard Plug participates in 2 bowling tournaments. Somehow during the confusion of bowling where you can't understand the language, Colin wins a trip to Vegas, thereby crushing the hopes of some Japanese musician who has never seen the U.S. |

9.01
Craig announces he has to leave the band after 10 years of diligent service. Apparently we don't make enough for his jet-setting lifestyle. Luckily we con our first choice for a replacement, Matt Van from the Parka Kings and Telegraph, into joining. |
| |

11.24 & 11.25.01
Mustard Plug celebrates their 10th Year Anniversary with 2 shows at the Intersection in Grand Rapids. They are Craig's last shows, and Matt's first shows. Old members come up and play on the old songs. Everyone drinks a lot. |
| |

2.28 - 3.202
Mustard Plug makes their first trip to Brazil. The band comsumes well more than it's share of beef and beer (except for the vegetarians who just drink more beer). The shows rock almost too hard and once again the band displays it's international bowling prowess. |
| |

6.02
The band plays hours and hours of Tony Hawk 2, eats tons of pb&j sandwiches and also records a new album. This time they decide to take control of the producing and the artwork. The whole album is recorded in one week in Detroit Rock City. |
| |

8.11 - 8.18.02
Mustard Plug finally gets invited to play the Warped Tour. A near riot insues in Detroit when the sound guy shuts off the sound after 3 songs. Afterwards a Warped Tour official states, "Mustard Plug will never play again as long as I work for the tour." |
| |

9.17.02
The band's fifth album, cleverly entitled "Yellow #5," is released. Mustard Plug has survived the Ska Inquisition and starts work on the next wave. |
| |

10.02 - 12.03
Tons of touring including several trips around America, twice in Canada & twice in the UK with our friends in Digger, The Planet Smashers, Captain Everything!, Howard's Alias, Allister, The Know How, Big D & The Kids Table and The River City Rebels. |

3.29.03
11,000 people come out to the Ska Summit in Las Vegas! Mustard Plug gets to play with Reel Big Fish, The Toasters, The Selecter, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Let's Go Bowling, The Special's Neville Staple, Buck O Nine, Fishbone and way more and witness firsthand the resurgence of Ska.

2.17.04
To prove to the disbelievers that ska is not dead, Dave organizes the Ska Is Dead Tour. On the inaugural tour is Mustard Plug, Catch 22, Planet Smashers and Big D & The Kids Table. The shows do incredibly well, Ska is back in the news and more tours are scheduled. |

Spring '04
After Brad becomes a daddy and gets an awesome bank job, John Massel of North Lincoln and Parkhurst takes over on drums. About the same time, Matt takes the job as bassist for Uncle Kracker. Replacing him is Rick Johnson of Wack Trucks and the Rick Johnson Rock and Roll Machine. |
| |

Spring '05
Winning the award for the shortest stint in Mustard Plug, John leaves to spend more time with North Lincoln after they are signed to No Idea Records. Taking his place is Nate Cohn of Kiss Me Quick and Nobody's Favorite. |

9.6.05
In a blatant display of egotism, Mustard Plug releases a greatest hits CD called "Masterpieces: 1991-2002." |
| |

9.7.05
The band hits the road with the Toasters, Planet Smashers, Go Jimmy Go and many others on the Ska Is Dead III Tour. |
| |

11.29.05
A sad day. After 317,116 miles and nearly 10 years of dilegent service, the Mustard Plug van is sold to a junk yard for $100. |
| |

3.28 - 4.1.06
The band rocks the Frostbite Tour with Bigwig, Big D & The Kids Table, Death By Stereo and The Flatliners. Again Mustard Plug takes on Canada and once again it's a draw. Not sure if it's the Canadian beer or the lack of Mexican food, but the Plug vows to keep returning until they're just not allowed into the country anymore. More studies must be done to fully understand their neighbors to the north. |
| |

10.12 - 10.22.06
East Coast Tour with Against All Authority, Westbound Train and Bomb The Music Industry. Mustard Plug may be old but they again discover that they are awesome and fun and these other bands are not. i guess better care must be taken in picking bands to tour with so as not to end up with a bunch of boring dudes like this. |
| |

11.5.06
Riot Fest in Chicago. Mustard Plug gets to share the stage with some of their favorite bands from the past including 7 seconds, Naked Raygun, and Youth Brigade! They also get to witness a reunion of their old pals The Blue Meanies! All this plus hanging with their friends in the Toasters makes for a definate day to remember. |
| |

11.30 - 12.10.06
Ska Is Dead UK. One van + three bands + one driver = 14 smelly dudes tearin up England!! It doesn't get a whole lot better than when the Plug gets to spend some quality time with their old pals from Canada! That one dude from Long Island or Georgia or wherever is pretty all right as well! The UK will never be the same. |
| |

1.2 - 1.16.06
After taking forever to write a new CD, the band heads back to Colorado to record with the Blasting Room crew. After 2 weeks of eating the spicyest food on the planet, drinking the local liquor store dry, playing hours and hours of Guitar Hero and being generally stir crazy during the Colorado winter, a 13 song epic is created. |
| |

7.25 - 7.27.07
Mustard Plug is allowed back on the Warped Tour for 3 shows. The band steps up into a cushy RV and plays Detroit again. No one gets hurt. |
